✔ Day 1: Marrakech → Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou → Boumalne Dades
Your shared journey begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Marrakech. The drive takes you across the High Atlas Mountains, winding through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you’ll see Berber villages and wide mountain views.
Next, you’ll arrive at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This UNESCO site is known for its history and its role in many films. A local guide will lead you through the narrow lanes and fortified walls.
For lunch, stop in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Afterwards, continue through the Valley of Roses, a stretch of land celebrated each spring with a rose festival.
As evening falls, travel along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” before reaching the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at Hotel le Chateau complete your first day of the desert tour.

In the afternoon, the road leads to Merzouga, your gateway to the Sahara. Here, you’ll prepare for a camel trek. Ride into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun sets.
Your desert camp awaits, where you’ll enjoy Moroccan food, music by the fire, and a sky filled with stars. Overnight options include a Comfortable Camp or an upgraded Deluxe Camp.

The route passes through the Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves, and over the Middle Atlas Mountains. Lunch is in Midelt, a town famous for its apple orchards.
Later, cross cedar forests where Barbary macaques live, and pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” By early evening, you’ll reach Fes, where the shared tour ends.
